First Home Buyers need a hand

First Home Buyers had been going it alone for 12 months with no success. Frustrated and depressed they engaged our Director, Katherine Skinner and in a little over 4 weeks had their offer accepted on their family home!

At their wit’s end, this young family approached us to find and secure their family home. They wanted a small family home on a decent block of land near public transport and easy access in and out of the city. Katherine performed a value assessment of the property and through her working relationship with the selling agent received a clear understanding of what the vendor was after and where her client’s offer needed to be. Our recommended conveyancer reviewed the contracts and Katherine documented the offer. Well, their offer came up aces and fought off 40+ other offers. No, that isn’t a typo! This property was hot and in high demand.

Our clients couldn’t believe after 12 months of frustration and disappointment they finally had their dream family home. Katherine had asked them to look less than 1 kilometre away from their original preferred location and they received everything they wanted for under budget.

And for extra peace of mind, we arranged a building and pest inspection during the cooling-off period because in South Australia there is no penalty if you walk away during that period.
